    Oil control where you are oily, hydration where you are dry. A base applied over unprepped skin separates in about four hours regardless of how expensive it is.

    Thin layers, built up

    Two thin passes outlast one thick one. Heavy coverage is what cracks around the smile lines by the time the garlands come out.

  3. 03

    Waterproof where it counts

    Liner, mascara, lashes and brows are waterproof by default. Tears at the kanyadanam are expected, and nothing below the eye should move.

    Sealed, then set

    Setting powder only where you shine, then a setting spray that locks the layers together instead of sitting on top of them.

Bridal Makeup Artist — Questions

How much does a bridal makeup artist cost in Chennai?
Our bridal packages start at ₹7,999 and include makeup, hairstyling and saree draping together. Gold is ₹9,999 and adds a pre-bridal facial and premium lashes; Platinum is ₹14,999 and adds hair extensions, a jewellery set and the groom's makeover. The quoted price is final — nothing is added on the wedding day.
Do you come to my home or wedding venue?
Yes, every booking is on-location by default. We bring the full kit, our own lighting and a portable chair to your home, the mandapam, the hall or your hotel room, and there is no travel charge anywhere inside Chennai city limits.
Which is better for me — HD or airbrush?
Airbrush suits oily skin and long outdoor functions because it sits lighter and resists sweat. HD gives richer, more buildable coverage and photographs beautifully indoors. We decide at the trial based on your skin type, the venue and how long the day runs.
Will the makeup make me look fairer than I am?
No. Shades are mixed to your undertone and checked against your neck in daylight before anything goes on your face. A face that is lighter than the neck is the single most common complaint about bridal makeup in photos, and it is entirely avoidable.
Is a bridal makeup trial included?
A trial is included with the Gold and Platinum packages and can be added to Silver. We run it in daylight, photograph the result on your own phone with and without flash, and adjust shade, lash style and eye intensity until you are happy.
How early do you arrive for a morning muhurtham?
For a 5–7 AM muhurtham we usually start between 2 and 3 AM. You get a written getting-ready schedule about a week before so your family, photographer and priest are all working to the same timeline.
How far in advance should I book a bridal makeup artist?
For peak muhurtham dates between January and March, three to six months ahead is safest. Off-season dates are often available within a few weeks. Send your date on WhatsApp and we will tell you honestly whether the slot is free.
Do you do makeup for the family and the groom too?
Yes. Groom grooming is included in the Platinum package, and makeup for the mother of the bride, sisters and bridesmaids can be added to any package at a per-person rate agreed before you confirm.
