What Costs What

Rates, openly listed

Most studios will not quote until you call. Here is ours in full — the three bridal packages, and what the individual services cost when booked on their own.

Silver — ₹7,999

Bridal HD makeup, bridal hairstyle and saree or lehenga draping, done at your venue. Suits a registrar wedding or a single-ceremony day.

Gold — ₹9,999

Premium HD or airbrush makeup, advanced hairstyle, draping, plus a pre-bridal facial and premium lashes. Our most-booked package.

Platinum — ₹14,999

Signature glass-skin makeup, advanced hairstyle, full draping, hair extensions and premium lashes, a bridal jewellery set, and the groom's makeover.

Engagement & reception

From ₹7,999 per function, including makeup, hair and draping. Booked together with the wedding day, multi-function weddings are quoted as one lower total.

Family, bridesmaids & guests

Priced per person and well below bridal rates. Party, baby shower and guest bookings are quoted on the day you ask, with no obligation.

Travel — ₹0 in Chennai

No travel charge anywhere inside Chennai city limits. Outstation weddings are quoted separately and always before you confirm.

The Fine Print

What is not on the price list

The charges that surprise brides elsewhere. Here is our position on each, in writing, before you book.

Trial charges
A trial is included with Gold and Platinum. On Silver it can be added for an agreed amount, quoted upfront — never charged automatically.

Early morning starts
No surcharge. A 2 or 3 AM start for a morning muhurtham is normal work for us, not an exception we bill for.

Second look on the same day
A reception look after the muhurtham is quoted with your package before you confirm. It is never added to the bill afterwards.

Flowers and jewellery
Flowers come from your florist. Jewellery is yours or rented, except in Platinum which includes one set. We do not mark either up.

Outstation travel
Weddings outside Chennai are quoted with travel and accommodation stated separately, so you can see exactly what the travel portion costs.

I had a wonderful experience at Shaarmika Beauty Parlour & Bridal Studio. The team was well-prepared and friendly, which immediately made me feel comfortable. I had an incredible experience with Shaarmika's bridal studio. Not only is she an extremely talented and Professional Artist, she is also a really down to earth person. She curated very personalized Makeup Looks for each of my Wedding function which was all done so well. Not only did I look different, she still managed to keep all the looks very natural and neat. Rekha, was also very helpful and made valuable suggestions for my outfits and jewellery. I had a really wonderful experience with her and I am super Happy to have chosen her for my Wedding Makeup. My family and I were very concerned about safety and hygiene. But, Rekha and her Team were extremely mindful about this. They were all wearing Masks, kept sanitising their hands & tools. This was indeed a great relief. Also, something else I have to mention here is that, there were a quite a lot of people from my family who wished to get dressed, but, at the same time we did not want to hire multiple artists or have a large team. And this issue was handled very professionally by Shaarmika's. There were compliments galore from family and friends and I have to thank Shaarmika's for this. I totally recommend her for her creativity, flexibility and her positive attitude and wish her lots of Good Luck.

The patience and her calm demeanour she showcases while at work to create wonders is unmatchable. Bridal Makeup Price — Questions

How much does bridal makeup cost in Chennai?

Our packages are ₹7,999 for Silver, ₹9,999 for Gold and ₹14,999 for Platinum. All three include bridal makeup, hairstyling and saree or lehenga draping together, done at your home or venue.

What is the difference between the three packages?

Silver covers HD makeup, hairstyle and draping. Gold adds a premium base, a pre-bridal facial and premium lashes. Platinum adds hair extensions, a bridal jewellery set and the groom's makeover on top of that.

Does the price include hairstyling and saree draping?

Yes, in every package. Makeup, hair and draping are treated as one job rather than three separately billed services, which is why the packages are quoted as a single figure.

Is HD or airbrush makeup more expensive?

Neither changes the package price on its own. Airbrush comes as standard with Gold and Platinum; on Silver it can be added for an agreed difference quoted before you confirm.

Do you charge for a makeup trial?

A trial is included with Gold and Platinum. On the Silver package it can be added for an agreed amount, and we will tell you that amount before you book rather than after.

Do you charge travel or early morning fees?

There is no travel charge anywhere inside Chennai city limits, and no surcharge for early morning starts — a 3 AM start for a muhurtham is normal. Outstation weddings are quoted separately with travel stated openly.

How much is makeup for family members and bridesmaids?

It is priced per person and sits well below the bridal rate. Tell us how many people at booking and you will have a firm total before you confirm — nothing is added on the day.

How much advance is needed to hold a date?

An advance holds your date and is agreed when you book, along with the balance schedule. Both are confirmed in writing on WhatsApp so there is a record you can refer back to.
