Engagements run to a tighter, later schedule than weddings. This is how the morning usually goes.

Makeup and hair together. We work backwards from when you need to leave, with a buffer for the inevitable delay.

Cleanse, hydrate, prime. On a light-coverage look this matters more than anything else you put on afterwards.

Evened out where you want it, left alone where you do not. Cream blush and cream highlight for a finish that stays alive in photos.

Hair after the face
So nothing falls onto finished makeup, and so we can balance the hairstyle against how the eyes ended up looking.

Our engagement look starts at ₹7,999 and includes makeup, hairstyling and saree or lehenga draping, done at your home or venue. Family makeup can be added at a per-person rate agreed before you confirm.

How long does engagement makeup take?

Two to two and a half hours for makeup and hair together. We work backwards from your departure time and build in buffer, because engagement mornings almost always run late.

Should engagement makeup be lighter than wedding makeup?

Usually yes. Engagements are often daytime events, and keeping this look a step softer means the wedding day still reads as a step up when the two sets of photographs sit together.

Do you do hairstyling for the engagement too?

Yes, it is included. We choose the style against what you are wearing — half-up for a half-saree, a soft bun for a Kanjivaram, loose waves for a lehenga.

Can you also do my mother's and sister's makeup?

Yes. Tell us how many people when you book so the extra time goes into the schedule, and the per-person rate is agreed upfront.

Is a trial needed for engagement makeup?

It is optional for the engagement alone. If you are booking us for the wedding as well, we usually treat the engagement as a practical trial for the wedding day look.

Will the makeup last through lunch and photos?

Yes — it is set with the same waterproof, long-wear routine as bridal makeup, just with lighter coverage. You keep your lip shade and blotting sheets for a quick refresh after the meal.

Can I book engagement makeup at short notice?

Often, yes. Engagements are less concentrated in peak muhurtham dates than weddings, so short-notice slots are more likely. Send us the date on WhatsApp and we will confirm the same day.
