How a group booking runs

Six people in one hotel room on a wedding morning goes badly without a plan. This is the plan.

Numbers confirmed a week ahead
Final headcount seven days before, so the right number of artists and the right amount of time is blocked. Late additions are the main cause of delays.

An assistant for larger parties
Beyond three or four people we bring an assistant. The bride is still always done by Thulasi herself — that does not change.

Roughly 45 minutes each
Makeup and hair per person, a little longer for anyone who wants a more detailed look. The running order reflects the real timings.

One address, one setup
Everyone in the same place. Splitting the party across two houses doubles the travel and is the fastest way to lose an hour.

Bride goes last
Her final touches, drape and jewellery setting happen once everyone else is finished and out of the way.

How much does bridesmaid makeup cost in Chennai?

It is priced per person and depends on the number of people and whether hairstyling is included. Tell us the headcount when you book and you will have a firm total before you confirm — nothing is added on the day.

How long does makeup take for each bridesmaid?

About forty-five minutes each for makeup and hair. We give you a written running order with a name and a time against each slot so nobody waits and nobody is rushed.

How many people can you get ready in one morning?

With an assistant, comfortably five or six alongside the bride. Beyond that we would want a second assistant, which we will tell you honestly when you share the headcount.

Will the bridesmaids all look the same?

No. We work to one shared colour palette, usually drawn from the outfits, but apply it to suit each person's features and skin tone. Coordinated, not uniform.

Do the bridesmaids get done before or after the bride?

Before. The bride's final touches, draping and jewellery setting happen last so the room is clear and calm when the photographer starts.

Can everyone get ready at the hotel or the hall?

Yes. We come to one address with the full kit. Keeping the whole party in one place rather than splitting across two houses saves an hour or more.

What if someone joins at the last minute?

Tell us as early as you can. We hold a little buffer, but a late addition on the morning itself may not be possible without pushing the bride's schedule, which we will not do.

Do you do hairstyling for bridesmaids too?

Yes, hair is part of the per-person booking — blow-dry, waves, a bun or a half-up, chosen against each outfit and neckline.
